Shopify: Cancelling, Refunding, and Restocking an Order.

Sometimes customers fail the age verification and as a result, their order cannot be fulfilled. If BlueCheck is being used to verify after checkout, this can cause headaches for the merchant as the order has already been paid for. Thankfully, BlueCheck offers Shopify merchants the ability to automatically cancel, refund, and restock orders that fail the age verification.

To enable these features login in to the BlueCheck Merchant Portal and then click on Settings in the left sidebar. If you have Shopify - Before Checkout, Shopify - After Checkout, Shopify Embedded - Before Checkout, or Shopify Embedded - After Checkout, in the Platform dropdown, you will see a section underneath titled Automatically cancel orders on failure (see screenshot). You can customize what you want to happen when a verification fails here.
